When did you
start selling online?
I first started selling
online at the suggestion of my aunt when I told her I had too
much "stuff". That was in 2004. Now I'm hooked on
auctioning.
How long have
you been with HiBidder?
This my my anniversary
month. I joined March 10, 2007.
What do you
sell?
Fine and Costume Jewelry,
Collectibles, Books, Christmas and Holiday items are the bulk
of my auctions. I like variety and enjoy selling a wide
variety of items
Could you tell
us about your store?
Scarlett's Rose is a place
where you can find the expected and the unexpected. Customer
service and satisfaction are number one for me.
I really enjoy decorating my store to fit a Holiday or season
of the year and HiBidder makes it easy to do that!
What are your
hobbies?
Selling online is my
biggest hobby. Most of my auctions are done start to finish
from scratch. I take the pictures, edit and prepare each
listing. It's time consuming and I have learned a great deal.
I also decorate my own Christmas ornaments & collect Swans
and Ruby Glass.
If you had
something to share with the people on HiBidder about
yourself, what would it be?
I love it here at
HiBidder! There are improvements and upgrades all the time
with the focus on the needs of both buyer and seller. Try to
find that anywhere else!
My favorite person is my Granddaughter, Scarlett's Rose.
Colors: Crimson & Gold.
I'm a bit eclectic and unconventional and I love to have fun!
Do you have any advice for
someone just starting on HiBidder?
Rich, and all the
people at HiBidder.com, are here to help. It is so rare and
refreshing to be treated as a person and an important part of

start selling online?
We started in April 2004
How long have
you been with HiBidder?
We have tried the site off and on for
the past year. We have really liked what we have
seen. This year's business plan includes
expanding on HiBidder. During our research we
found HiBidder to be moving in the direction that we
want to go.
What do you
sell?
We sell mostly Home Decor,
Collectables, Jewelry, and Pet Supplies. But
from time to time we are able to locate great prices
on other items and pass those saving to our
customers. Our goal is "Provide Quality
Products At Prices Our Customers Deserve"
Could you tell
us about your store?
We actually have two websites www.hillsidegeneralstore.com
our main store and www.hillsidepetshop.com
we have contacts in pets supplies that enable us to
find product at great prices. You will see
products from all areas listed on our HiBidder store.
What are your
hobbies?
My hobby these days is
"Grand-Children" and helping my
children. I have 4 children and
grandchildren. We have 2 boys both in college
and 2 girls who are both in the medical field. Plus 2
grandboys.
If you had
something to share with the people on HiBidder about
yourself, what would it be?
I found back in 2004, that as a Seller you get what
your put into it. I am a very fickle Buyer myself so
the product must pass my quality. I believe as a
Seller you must provide customer service over
everything.
Do you have any advice for
someone just starting on HiBidder?
Start small and don't rush into it. We have made many
mistakes but we have learned from those mistakes and
made adjustments. Take your time, understand were you
are and were you are going.
